Coming into 2018 I realized I needed a new website. I kept updating my old one, but would immediately hate the layout and the colors, so I wouldn't advertise any posts. I finally decided to stop being lazy, and spent the majority of Christmas break and the weeks after locked in my room working on this new site. So far I'm happy with it and I hope you like it, too!
Here is the first current post of the year, on top of the giant backlog of posts that I couldn't transfer from my last site (which are all time stamped from this week, but written before that).
Last week, the concert promoter at Wooly's asked if I would shoot their sold-out Prince tribute show. I had the pleasure of seeing The Revolution play at Minnesota's Rock the Garden last summer, and was excited to see more. It wouldn't be fair to compare the two, but The Prince Experience, fronted by Gabriel Sanchez, are noteworthy in their own right. Their high energy, theatrical set had the entire venue dancing, and it was obvious how much thought and care they put into their performances. Wooly's had taken down their photo barriers for the show, which I definitely was not used to, but it turned out to be a fun challenge for me.
